The Heron’s Closet — How It Works
1. Book Your Appointment
We’ll schedule a convenient time for our team to come to your home and tackle your closet with you.
2. We Sort — Together
Our team works with you to go through your closet and sort your clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories. We’ll help you decide what you’re ready to let go of while you make the final call on what stays.
3. Everything Gets a Destination
Once we’ve sorted through your closet, items will go into one of four categories:
KEEP — Pieces you love and want to put right back in your closet.
DONATE — Items that still have life left but aren't right for consignment.
DISCARD — Items that are worn, damaged, or no longer suitable for donation or resale.
CONSIGN — Items that meet Blue Heron Boutique’s current consignment standards and can be considered for resale.
4. We Put the Keepers Back
You don't have to worry about being left with piles all over your bedroom. Once the sorting is complete, your KEEP items go right back into your closet.
5. We Take Care of the Rest
The donation and discard items leave with us, and your consignment items are brought back to The Blue Heron Boutique to be processed according to our normal consignment guidelines.

$99 - Includes up to 2 hours of in-home closet clean-out service
Need a little more time? No problem. $40 per additional hour
We'll keep you informed as we approach the two-hour mark so you can decide whether you'd like to continue.
Your closet clean-out service fee is separate from any consignment proceeds. Any items accepted for consignment will be processed under your existing consignor account and are subject to our standard consignment terms.
