Closet Clean Outs: Let’s Make Room
Diary Entry No. 3
Dear Diary...
“We’ve all had that moment — opening the closet and thinking, ‘I have nothing to wear,’ while standing in front of a closet packed with clothes! Sometimes we don’t need more clothes… we just need to make room for the pieces we actually love, wear, and feel fabulous in. And that got us thinking — what if we could bring the Blue Heron to you? So, Diary, we’re making room for something new… introducing The Heron’s Closet, our in-home closet clean-out service. We’re ready to help you decide what stays, what goes, and what gets a second chance. Until next time, Diary.”
Meet The Heron’s Closet
Sometimes the hardest part of cleaning out your closet is simply knowing where to start.
That’s where we come in!
With The Heron’s Closet, we’ll come to you and help sort through those pieces taking up valuable closet space. Together, we’ll decide what stays, what goes, what can be donated, and what might deserve a second chance at Blue Heron Boutique.

In the meantime, enjoy our 10 Quick Tips for a Closet Clean-Out
1. Haven’t worn it? Ask yourself why.
If you keep skipping over it, there’s probably a reason.2. Does it fit your life AND your body?
If not, it may be time to let it go.3. Stop saving everything for “someday.”
Someday is taking up way too much closet space.4. Check your multiples.
Do you really need five black sweaters? Pick your favorite.5. Try it on.
That “I’m sure it still fits” moment can be very humbling.6. Pay attention to what you actually wear.
Your favorite pieces are telling you something.7. If it doesn’t feel like you anymore, listen to that.
Your style can change — and your closet can change with it.8. Make a maybe pile.
Just don't let “maybe” live there forever.9. Don't let the price tag make the decision.
What you paid for it doesn't mean you have to keep it.10. Make room for what you love.
Your closet should make getting dressed easier — and a lot more fun.Ready to Make Room?

October is About More Than Fall Fashion
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and while we’re talking about making room in our closets, we also want to make room for something much more important — awareness, support, and hope.
This month, we’re thinking of those affected by breast cancer, honoring those who have fought, remembering those we’ve lost, and celebrating those who continue to inspire us every day.
Think pink. Spread awareness. Show support.
